ADF Shedding question?

Is this how ADF's shed there skin, or is this the, "shedding in tatters that Lucy was talking about in the ADF care sheet thread?

 

Yes, it's shedding. I believe they eat it afterwards.

 

It doesn't always come off in one peice.
A bad shed would look like it went through shredder.
