Adf Feeding Troubles

I just got an African Dwarf Frog and I got Zoo Med Aquatic Frog and Tadpole Food. They float but if you push on the granules then they sink quickly. Once it sinks then it gets wedged down in the gravel. I need help fast so my ADF can eat. I don't know what to do and I'm concerned. Help would be MUCH appreciated.

if he/she is the only one in the tank you can put a small plate or something and put the food on that or clear an area of rthe gravel so you can see the glass bottom of the tank and let him find it there.. Couple options.. I have an ADF with 1/2 gravel and 1/2 sand and always drop his food on the sand side so he can search it out. i'm sure he will still be able to get some from your gravel just don't letit sit if he can't so it don't build up ammonia... Good luck!!

I just tried putting the granules on a dish but the frog wouldn't eat it and eventually the guppies did.
I wonder if I tried feeding live bloodworms or live blackworms. How would that work and where could I get them?

I don't know where to get live ones, but my frogs all love the frozen thawed bloodworms. They come to worship the turkey baster and start going nuts. You may have to use tweezers at first to make sure he gets some.

My ADF is now eating! I actually took a seashell (it's all I had on hand) and put in it in the tank like a bowl in one of his favorite hiding spots. He loves to hang out in it and at feeding time I just let the pellets sink into the shell.

Hey there ! I reccomend also feeding some frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp. I have a very old (8-9 year) ADF that has the same problem. It isn't the best to be only feeding bloodworms and brine shrimp but he can't eat pellets. Mine is getting horribly skinny though, I feed him around 6 worms 3 times a week and he came from a home feeding pellets or something once a week maybe. Anyways the worms work for me and hopefully aren't the cause of his horrible weight loss

Thank you for your advice, I will definitely use it in the future. Unfortunately, my ADF passed away a while ago die to getting stuck in the filter. I plan to get more in the future though.
