ADF feeding schedule?

I’ve found a perfect re home for my remaining ADF, but now I’m having second thoughts. I love him an would like to keep him if I’m able. I have a 20 gallon tall with six danios and a garra rufa. I’m wondering if I kept two African dwarf frogs in there if it would be overstocked? Also those of you with ADFs how do you do vacations and such with your frogs feeding schedule? Is it possible? What do you do to prepare for a vacation and what’s the max amount of time you’d leave your frog for?

As long as you have lots of things by the surface for them to rest on I think they’d be ok.

Today i got 3 adorable ADFs! I was wondering how often I should feed? Morning and night? Once a day? I saw someone who fed mon, wed and fri but I know some people feed everyday. My guys are super tiny and cute but I cant come up with names so if you have any tell me. I was thinking of either pickle, sprout and bean or yakko wakko and dot.

I always fed mine once a day if they are teens or adults.
I've also seen where people feed every other day, bot something I would do but they say it worded for them.

Cute names, now we need pictures!

Hi there!! I love pickle, sprout, and bean!!

before we talk about feeding schedule, how big are they? And how skinny? Could we maybe see pictures?

when frogs are young and/or skinny, they do need to be fed around every day to get fattened up. And then they can go down to every other day/every three days once they grow and can put on weight.

I’m hesitant to tell you an exact feeding schedule because it’s more individualistic than that. The best rule of thumb is to feed once as much as they’ll eat (till their belly gets big but not to the point of bloating), and then let their stomachs Digest it and then feed them again once their stomach goes back down. Typically once they’re adults that can be every 2-3 days but each frog is different.

frog digestion systems are different from fish digestion systems, so they eat larger amounts and go a couple days between feedings depending on how fast they digest their meals

Heres a picture. eans is on the left, pickle in the middle and sprout on the right. They dont seen to be that skinny but I think ill stick to feeding every night. Id estimate they are probably an inch long. I fed them bloodworms tonight and they ate very well! Thank you guys for you help. They are so derpy and i love them so much!

Okay they definitely don’t look super young or terribly skinny. If I were you I’d feed them one good meal (until their stomachs swell at a safe level) and wait until their stomachs get back to how they look in this picture and see how long it takes before you strictly do daily feedings
