Adding New Water When Doing Water Changes

When adding new water (with prime added and same temp as the tank) for a 30% or larger water change is it ok to add all the new water at once (or in a short period with my 75 g, 60 g and 55 g tanks) or should some water be added then wait before adding more like is done when acclimating new fish?

If its the same temperature then it can go all at once.

If it's same source, same temp, what AquaticJ said. Pay attention to your fish though, if a bunch die, or swim funny for a while after, it could mean you need to go slower.

I temperature match and add it all at once.

Thanks! That will save time for sure. I use conditioned tap water in all my tanks so it always comes from same source but its public water so who knows what can happen.

I use a water change system, add Prime before the refilling with no ill effects.
