Adding More Fluval Biological Booster

I have a 23 gallon Fluval Vista 23 set up for a week that currently has 6 zebra danios and about 12 plants. I used Prime and the included Fluval Biological Booster to set up the tank. Daily testing has shown 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 10-20 nitrates the last 4 days. I did a 25% water change yesterday and today, for the first time, I see .25 ammonia! Still have 0 nitrites and 10-20 nitrates.

I added Prime but should I add more biological booster? This probably sounds silly, but I don't want to be dependent on using a booster.

Also, I was planning on adding a new fish today - perhaps a honey gourami. I suppose that's not an option?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Did you use biological booster since beginning?

I added Prime after filling the tank, then ran it for a day. Then I added the Fluval the next 3 days in recommended dose.

Also, did the water change cause the ammonia? I know I treated the water, but I had to use my math skills to calculate dosage!
