Adding More Females To 10g Betta Sorority

Sororities have a bad reputation in my opinion because I've been too scared to try it for over a year. But a few weeks ago I jumped on the opportunity and got 5 Petsmart girls and so far... everything has gone smoothly. They were nippy for 2, maaaybe 3 days. But the worst injury was a split fin

10g tanks are controversial, but I'm confident that I have enough spots for them to have their own territory. In fact, I think I have TOO many hiding spots. The tank is looking a bit bare ATM, leading to my question.

Is it a bad idea to add 2 more girls? Bioload-wise I should be fine, but I'm just concerned that I will ruin my successful sorority. I would take the 5 current girls out, float the new ones with the old ones, and add them all at the same time. I've watched a lot of Youtube videos, and people appear to have success with this method.

Opinions?

Have a side tank, maybe you could add one more, I think. Off topic you know my click bait thread, it was deleted after 15 min I do have ex, but only had 2 females in a 15 gallon community tank.

I just acclimate them and dump them in. How ever I'm on the other end of the spectrum as far as tank size so I don't know how it would work in a 10.

It also depends on the individual

Glad that works for you david, but you also have a MEGA sorority I'm very jealous of it.

It also depends on the individual

All of my girls are really calm except for Eunice. She's the alpha dog But even she calmed down eventually, so I hope she will be just as accepting if I choose to add more.

With 3 males and 13 females I can't even call it a sorority anymore. I think everybody agreed on betta rave tank. Lol

With the girls I have a few endlers and guppy fry, plus about 10-15 RCS and blue shrimp.

Stop talking about it or I might sneak a 75 gallon tank into the house and shove it in my closet where nobody will ever find out. And that would NOT go over well

Whenever I go to like PetSmart, I take two of the bettas off the shelf and put them on another one, right beside each other, then I put back the more aggressive or upset one and take out another one. I repeat the process until I get the most peaceful betta . Not a perfect process, but I have had good results so far.
Just an idea if you are worried about aggresstion

If I get two more, they'll probably from my LFS's betta tank that has some gorgeous girls. Since they're already with other bettas, I'm not that worried about aggression. I'm more worried about my existing bettas not accepting the new ones.

Got two more girls today, and went with David's method of dumping them in. So far everything is fine. Eunice flared at them because she's the boss so at least they got a warm welcome. Now they're swimming around with the others.
