Adding Mature Angelfish to young/new tank help

My tank is 55 gallon (215 litres) and has been set up for two weeks. It currently has a BGK, Bala (silver) shark, golden shark, bristlenose and two angelfish. All Juveniles.
I have been offered two 13cm angel fish, would they be alright in the tank?
Will they show aggression to he other fish and in particular other angel fish?
Thankyou

Tolak might be able to help you as he keeps and breeds angelfish. Hopefully he will see the mention and come to help. Welcome to the forum and glad you decided to join us. Alison

I wouldn't as bala sharks get huge and they should be in a group of 6+ and they should have at least 150 gallons.... they need a lot of room I had them in a 55 gallon in about two months I had to guy buy a 175 gallon tank...other sharks I'm not too educated on them.. but I would prolly try to hold off until you get something bigger?? My thoughts man and welcome to fishlore as I'm new to this as well good luck Bro!

Angels also love a very very heavily planted tank very heavy

Anglefish get more aggressive when pairing up and want to breed. Are the 2 mature one's a pair? Then that is mostly when problems start. But putting mature Angels into a tank with younger ones may result in some spats. Regardless you may end up with a pair and the others get bullied. Best to stay with just the 2 you have.
