I have a newly established fish tank and now looking at it, I'm thinking I was a little conservative with decorating it and should probably add more to it to give my fish more cover. Is it ok to add decorations to the tank while the fish are in there already? I know I should rinse off anything I add in warm water beforehand, but just want to make sure I'm not gonna screw up the tank by putting in more stuff. Thanks!

Sure it is. You can add, take away, rescape the bottom or whatever you like. The fish may stress a bit but that's normal.

Sure , you have the right idea, just make sure it's rinsed off. Enjoy.

Go for it. Your fish will be happier in the long run. Many people, myself included, have gone so far as to completely rescape our tanks before! A few new decorative additions won't be a major issue.

Agreed, no harm in rearranging or adding decor to your tank, just be conscious not to add anything that might leech chemicals in to your tank over time or pottery or rocks that might raise/lower your PH.
