I have a 180 gallon tank I got and noticed that one side has been scratched looks like they used a brilliant pad or something , I don't want to get it all set up and deal with the one side not being as good as other, it may not have any issues but want to go ahead and fix it, I have read sanding works with different steps and I seen Novus , the 321 steps deal, any pros and cons , any tips appreciated love the site,

Wet sand and buff. You must do the whole tank or a much larger section than what is scratched to blend it all in.

There is no quick or easy fix for scratches in acrylic. Its going to take some elbow grease and proper tools.

Just an FYI acrylic tends to show off scratches much more than glass. I guarantee you the front of the tank will look hideous. I highly recommend spending the time to repair it.
