Accurate thermometer with big numbers (easy to read)?

Is there an aquarium thermometer that has big numbers / easy to read for poor eyesight that's also accurate. I currently have one of the typical little glass thermometers in my tank. Without my reading glasses on it's useless, and with them on, I can just about make how far up the green area it is, but really hard to see the actual lines. Anything out there for old eyes that is also accurate?

Some of the digital thermometers you can get have pretty large lcd displays. Cost a bit more than old-fashioned thermometers though.

I see a ton of these on Amazon, but most seem to have pretty lousy reviews when it comes to accuracy. Was wondering if anyone was using a specific model that they can vouch for.

Without a tape measure handy, 5-6 inches or so?

This might work. I do trust the non-digital ones a little more. And no batteries to have to deal with.

These ones are nice as they are held on by magnets instead of suction cups. Have on all my tanks now.

I'm definitely going to pick one of these up. Do you find they are all pretty accurate? Any variance between the ones you have?

I don't really get hung up on testing too much. Most of them are in betta tanks and read 80 degrees, feels like 80 to my fingers. Contrary to popular belief, 1 degree off generally will not wipe out your fish. Being a horrible fish keeper wipes out fish! Or at least i felt pretty horrible.

JCreate has a lithium battery driven thermometer that stick to the outside of the tank. The numbers are huge, the battery long-lasting. It matches the analog thermometer readings

Best off using a good titanium heater (don't buy Chinese junk, get a D-D one) and a heater controller. They have big glowing numbers on them and you get much more control over how they behave. It's also safer as the heater can't fail on (or crack if you get a titanium one).
