Absolutely Baffled - Angel fish eggs?? 65 Gallon Tank

    Hi everyone,
I have a 65 gallon, 2 dalmation mollies (got a little crazy with all the babies gave the males and babies to the fish store, all 24 of them), 2 dwarf graumies, 2 gold barbs, 5 red barbs, 1 sword tail, 1 clown loach, and 1 angelfish.

I have 2 filters, 1 fluval and another that hangs on the back of the tank.
I do a 10% water change every 3 days. Never had a problem with algae and the fish seem to be happy.
What I am baffled about is I came home tonight and found about 500 eggs (no I didn't count them all...ha ....ha, I'm just saying there's alot.) on the tube of the filter that hangs on the back of the tank.
I do not have a pair of angelfish is it safe to assume these are just unfertilized eggs!!!! I would also assume that it is a female that I have, she's being very territorial of the eggs, and she's also moving up the tube and when she knocks an egg off the tube she eats it which I would think would be normal behavior for an angel.

I'm just baffled, is it normal for an angelfish to lay eggs without the male???
