HI guys, I was wondering if I can put my adult platies and 2 month old fry together, without any death? I know that the platy adults won't be able to eat them now since they're bigger than the mouth, but i'm worried that the adults might attack them, like tackling them or bullying them etc.

Thx!

Distract the adults with food at one end of the tank & put the young in the other end, the adults may go after them at first but once they realise they can't eat them they should leave them alone.

Nice! It's weird but I'm actually gonna move the adults to the fry tank, since for some reason the fry tank is actually much bigger and cleaner . Good to hear they aren't the kill em all! type.

I did it with my molly fry, and the adults left the fry alone.

I managed to raise my fry in the same tank as the adults. I filled the top of the water with some plastic plants that I removed the weight from. Most survived and I actually lost heaps because I forgot to feed them the fry

hI guys, update to what happen now.

So instead of any fighting, the little males go all Oedipus on their mother. To be honest, it's pretty funny to see little fishes trying to mate with something three times their size. But I was worried the mother might be stressed by their desperate attempts to mate, so I didn't wait to see if the father would try to mate with the little females before putting the adults back to their old tank.

Maybe I'll put them together once the little males would start getting interested in the little females
