about baby star fish hitch hiker

I bought a few pieces of live rock from my LFS a few weeks ago, and after watching it a couple days I have noticed small white sea stars with bodies like that of a brittle star. So I'm thinking I have lucked into some really neat hitch hikers, so my question is what can I do to keep these little guys goin? I would really like to see them make it.

 

You have MINI BRITTLE STARS
Normally you won't see these guys. You'll just notice a small striped or white arm waving out from a hole in the rock. This is their normal behavior and they rarely come out from the rock. They are harmless in the tank and will reproduce if they have food. they are part of your cleanup crew, are helpful and you do not need to do anything special for them to survive, they also reproduce quite readily and you will have several more in the upcoming months

 

Hey kloseo thanks for the help. I figured they were harmless from watching them. I must a have a good group because mine come out regularly to be seen. I have sat and counted 19 of them out at one time. Should I watch what kind of inverts I get for my tank to avoid them all getting ate?

 

no they will all be fine, I have the brittle stars, hermit crabs, snails, and shrimp all doing fine

I'm going to try, I currently don't have a computer. I use the web browser on my phone and have been unable to figure out how to upload pics from my phone. But soon as I do or get to a computer I wanna get my gallery together, so will surely try to get some pics of the minI brittle stars.
