Ha! Made you look!

mrs krib was looking spectacular this evening, trying to entice the mr..... just had to get a pic of her in all her fine color.

and this little girl, or rather big girl, has become my buddy at work.... she hangs around right outside my office door waiting for me to come out and sprinkle cracked corn for her.... here she is giving herself a lovely dirt bath by laying down and kicking the cool dirt up onto herself with her legs.

Mrs krib is a gorgeous fish! I love to watch the wild turkeys. Something about them makes me smile lol

Are the pictures really big, or is it my computer?

Every now and then, it seems some people see the pics in a non-thumbnail . Not sure why. I never post my thread until they appear as thumbnails.

Thanks..... not to brag or anything, but I do think she's the prettiest female krib I've ever seen..... same about the mr.

OMG, I just looked real close at her picture again.... doesn't she look like she's slurping up a strand of spaghetti?

Good morning,

Awesome photos LyndaB Beautiful fish! It really does look like she is slurping some spaghetti.

Love the turkey too. We have a lot of wild turkeys in our neighborhood. Nothing unusual to look outside and see some. At times when I'm walking I'll see 6 to 8 just walking up the road

Thanks for sharing! Best of luck for a spawn!

Thanks, Ken. The kribs ate the last spawn (must've been out of spaghetti), and the mr is playing harder to get this time. Maybe they are maturing.

Definitely a good looking Krib! The turkey on the other hand...lol. You think seeing a bunch walking down the road is neat.......try about 10 of em flying over your head coming in for a landing.... . First time I heard/saw it I thought helicopters were landing on my roof and had NO idea turkeys flew lol. I thought they were like ostriches.

I had some fly over my Jeep Wrangler on a back country road a few years back. Had the top off the Jeep and was so sure I was about to have passengers. Man, they can fly if they have to, but they don't get very high. It's amazing to me that they even roost up in trees.

On a better note, mrs krib's color display worked on the mr. We have fry! Should be free swimming in a day or two. arty0049:

when I was a little kid we had a pet turkey. Every time we would open the door it would come running and we would pet it. It was so cute!
