So I went to my LFS today to get new bulbs for 10 and Melafix(Guppies tails still healing) and when walk out of the store I saw a Betta sitting the carriage in a parking spot that was blocked when I went in so I took the little guy home cuz no way was I leaving him there in this heat. I even tested the temp of the cup he was in and it was 92F. I put him in the 10 with Goldikova. So here is the new boy no name yet.

Wat h youself. You will find yourself falling in love with the little guy and next thing you know you have a bad case of MBS - Multiple Betta Syndrome. You'll be wanting to get another every time you see them in the store. I got my first one last week for my granddaughter and ended up with another this week. I can't even look at them onthe shelf because I want to bring them all home.

I have two already and do long for more but Malcolm is already jealous that I have got HoudinI bless him thankfully my LFS keeps their bettas in good sized tanks with other fish they don't use the little cups in England and my LFS always tries to heal any injured babies they have last time they had a little blue crown tail in quarantine that wasn't for sale because he had lost half of his tail he was in very good hands though I still wanted to bring him home. Then I spotted HoudinI and it was love at first sight

I have restrained myself to only two betta tanks... but it is getting easier to avoid the betta shelves with practice.

Well seeing her new place only allows 1 fish tank max size 10 gallon so I figured Odens 5 gallon man cave would be perfect for her plus Oden and her already have a bond seeing he always swims like crazy when she comes to visit. So as I am sad to see him go I know he will be well cared for.

Hope she doesn't get multiple betta syndrome at least you will be able to visit him and its for a good cause and he will be well looked after I told my fiancé about you finding your new crown tail and he was really happy you rescued him I think it upset him that someone would just leave him out there thank you for saving him

If my husband would let me... omg would it be a zoo, the main thing that is keeping me from it is that our lease prevents us from having more than 2 pets... or I would go out and rescue another cat...I know my dad would go out and buy me a ten gallon but I don't have the room... plus hubbs is not a fan of the fish lol took me months to convince him to let me get the 5 gallon....and btw I bet the african grey parrot is a blast... ive never thought of getting a parrot bec they live so long and I wouldnt know who to leave it to if I should die

Actually, I think the appropriate term is menagerie. Or at least, that's what my bedroom door says.

2 snakes, gecko, beetle, 3 dogs, 30 maybe 40 fish. and more coming.

I had a gecko until he died from my dad over heating him( I was away at college and no pets where allowed) he lived for 4 yrs until my dad left the heat lamp and pad on over night poor guy fried . I have yet to find a place around me that sells healthy ones. I miss owning one but in time I will get another one.
