A Reminder About The B/S/T/Free Forum

First, We'd like everyone to review the rules and guideline of the B/S/T/Free Forum:

FishLore Classifieds (buy, sell, trade, free, swap) Rules

Please do not post "have you tried..." here

Second, before posting a WTB thread take the time to scroll through and read the FS threads.
There's a good chance that someone already has this item for sale.
It's impossible for a seller to list everything in the title if they have several things for sale.

The moderators often review the threads and delete needless chatter.

Questions about shipping, care of the species or compatibility will be allowed if you are seriously considering the offer.

However, posts such as 'pretty fish', 'wish I could' etc will be deleted.
    Look at it this way:
One would never look at the classified in the newspaper, call the seller and tell them 'I really like your whatnot but I cannot buy it'.

Lastly, (this is covered in the rules, which we trust you have reviewed) B/S/T/Free should not be done via profile messages. Limit it to the thread or through the pm system.

Both parties MUST have 50 posts. If someone has contacted you via profile check their post count.
Chances are they could not start their own thread in the B/S/T/Free Forum because they didn't have the required post count.

We realize in some cases members are trying to help.
It's actually quite admirable in some cases.
However, if one of those parties has under 50 posts, it is a violation of forum rules and not allowed on FishLore.

To those of you who question the 50 post rule, it was put in place for a reason.
For the most part it is an effort to protect YOU from possibly being scammed, spammed or otherwise ripped off.

Violations of these rules will result in a warning or risking having your account banned.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)

    Friendly reminder....

Please do not reply to an ad if you are not interested in what is offered or what the OP is looking for.

The OP will usually subscribe to their ad..
It can be disappointing and frustrating to find that the reply isn't from someone who is serious about the offer.

    Thank you. :)

    Giving this a bump.

Please remember the B/S/T forum is not a chat forum.

    Thank you :)
