A Picture Of Each Of The Bettas I Rescued.

I took these on my old phone because the one I usually use was charging, so please excuse the bad quality of them but here are the nine bettas that I took in last night. Try and ignore the unsightly water stains seen in some of them. I was in such a hurry to get them out of their ammonia death traps that I didn’t wipe down the outside of their tanks.

Speaking of tanks, I’m going shopping tomorrow after work to get the five of them who are still in just over a gallon of water new homes. I’ll be picking up sponge filters, new substrate, and a couple heaters (and thermometers) as well for the ones that I’ll move out of the temperature controlled room.

As you can see some of them have fin rot and other minor health issues, but I’m looking forward to seeing what good clean warm water does for them.

One last thing, does anyone have any name suggestions for them? The only one that has been named is the dumbo eared female who my hubby has been calling Petals. So if you can think of any names, please feel free to suggest them.

Don’t forget I know where you stay! :smug:

Ok. The one that’s calling to me is the pink one. Sounds beautifully unique! Sounds fine and delicate. Graceful and sweet. I’ll think on it.

Looking through all of the pictures, I feel the black crowntail should be called Midnight or Moonlight, the dragonscale copper halfmoon should be called Draco and the red halfmoon maybe Rosè? His colour reminds me of the wine Rosè. Just saying, I don't drink. Just a very pretty colour.
