A noise free filter?!

Hello!

I am new to keeping fish, and have a problem with my filter.
It makes such a loud humming noise that is really hard to ignore, and as the tank is in my bedroom it's making it hard to sleep!
The filter came with the tank so I don't know what make it is, the tank in a 24L tank, and I have 2 plants in there, an air pump and 3 cold water fish.
Are there any filters out there that would be suitable for this tank and that are noise free?!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My azoo palm filter is super quiet. It's also called the red sea nano filter.

If you really want to go about solving the noise problem and are willing to spend a little bit of extra cash, I highly recommend the Fluval U1. It is a completely submerged internal filter. I use it that for my 10 gallon and I bought it due to the same problems you're having. It has flow and directional control, and if at the very top of the tank it even has an aeration feature. Plus it's absolutely silent if submerged

What sort of filter? i.e. Canister, internal or Hang-on-Back[HOB]?

Are you sure it's the filter making noise and not the air pump?
