A new tank with only male guppies

Hi All,
I am planning to buy a new 10 gallon tank with only male guppies as inmates. Are there any issues in keeping males only? If so, how many is ideal for a 10 gallon tank?
Also, in my other tank which has less plants and hiding spaces whenever a female guppy becomes pregnant, all males start chasing her and she gets stressed and then I have to use dividers and all. I wish to avoid this situation in the new tank. Suggestions please.

Male guppies will hassle each other more or less constantly. Sometimes it's just posturing, and sometimes it's mayhem.

I have a male only guppy tank and they seem to do fine. You will just want to watch out for potential nipping, I would suggest getting some that have smaller fins vs some large half moon guppies. Have a back up plan incase one gets a little too rowdy, but usually once they establish a pecking order, a male guppy tank shouldn't have many problems. I would aim for 5-6 males, the younger you can get them the better to start out in a fraternity. Make sure to have some line of site breaks in the tank as well just incase there is some harassment.

How many fish do you have in your other tank and what's the ratio of males/females? The easiest solution would be to reduce the number of males you have in the tank and/or add more hides and line of site breaks with plants or hardscape.

In my other tank I have 6 guppies(3 males) of which one female seems sick.
Also, how many male guppies is ideal for a new 10 gallon tank?

I tried keeping only male guppies and they fought constantly and several died. As it was for a school aquarium this was not good. The best fish for this situation in a 20 long was Zebra Danios as they were not negatively affected by the children unlike some fish which were stressed out.

Do Zebra danios exhibit the same behaviour of males chasing females when they are pregnant as like in guppies?

With a large enough group no individual was picked on and weaker individuals or females could blend into the group without being isolated and chased around.

I think it would be a problem with a small group number.

An all male guppy tank will do fine. But in some cases, a dominance thing might show up. Most of the time it will pass once everyone knows his place. But of course, there can also be very mean males. It's a matter of trying and wait and see.
