Hi!
A couple quick questions?
How much percent of the water are you cycling out?
How many fish do you have?
Is your tank Cycled?
Do you feed a lot of food?

How much water did you change?
It looks like it went from 2ppm to 0.5ppm.
But the angle can be deceiving.
I imagine and hope you are doing a fishless cycle. In that case the water change is not really needed.
In case you have fish in there, there is a 50% to 75% water change in order + Prime.

This is after a aprox 85% water change. Do have 4 guppies plus 6 guppy fry. Been doing big water changes since the 5th. Have not seen the sun for 2 weeks and have terrible indoor lighting

Yeah guppy here has another thread about why they have such high nitrites, although I don't think a reason was ever found as to why they were so high. It looks like 2 to 0.5 to me as well.

What are your other tank Parameters, and what are using (chemical and solution wise) to treat your water and add bacteria and such.

What are your tap water parameters? You may have to switch to RO water.
Depending on your tank size that may give you the peace of mind.

Have 0 nitrites and nitrates in tap water but do have .50 ppm ammonia

ammonia is 0.25 and nitrates 10-20 ppm with all these water changes keeping them low. Now just using aquasafe in new water.
