Hi, could someone please help me calibrate my ehiem Jaager heater? I've lost my instructions and apparently turned the wrong dial trying to adjust the heat. t's holding steady at 80, even though I thought I'd turned the tank down to 76. I'm assuming I did something wrong, because it's a reiable heater

Unplug it. Let it cool off. Than turn red dial to 80 and move the blue to 76. Plug it back in and see what happens. May have to do another correction to get it right

It may also take up to a week or a couple days to do... ( took me 6 days)

So it’s possible that the dial is kaputz.... I have adjusted it a few times now and it still holds steady at 78.

Which would be perfect except that I d have liked to restock with zebra danios . I could swap for a different heater but I suspect 100w is probably too big for my 10 and 5 gallon tanks lol. I guess I’ll look for a restock that will like 78 degrees
