A Day That Will Never Be Forgotten

I was at work. Probate judge’s office. Coworkers kept playing the same video over and over. People falling/jumping out of building. I couldn’t watch it. My heart was shattered for all of the people affected by this. Still is.

Difficult to please lol yeah. There used to be some great lfs in the city and the boroughs and about 10 on the island. 200 + tanks and large tanks. There was one on Houston that went all the way to kent st. Hundreds of tanks you could spend an hour in there. Fishtown is big and been there for at least 30 years. Pet warehouse is a chain of I think independents that got together. The ones in glen cove and copiague are good. Also heard the fish hut in jersey is real good. Got to make a trip there.

It was the first time in as far back as I could remember that there were no jet trails in the sky. Eerily quiet. A very hard time.

I lived in a town just outside the metro area (and the airport) at the time. Once the planes went back up, I cringed every time a plane went over, because it sounds like they're winding down on approach and my imagination turned the sound into a jet falling out of the sky.
My kid was little, as was his cousin, and our multi-generation home took turns watching TV and hanging out with the babies in another room.
