A change of tank setup....

So I got two new tank rack setups, and I need to convert from

to this (this is 6x20 gallon longs)

My current tank stock is shrimp (so gotta figure a way to migrate shrimp from the 10 to the 20long), a 37 gallon angelfish tank (I think I'm going to put this one on top of one of the shelves since its the same dimensions), and a 20 gallon tall that currently has my pea puffers in (move to a 20 long, which would be way better). The two 5 gallons are culture tanks so they can go anywhere, I'm not worried about them.

Any recommendations on the shrimp? I think they are the ones I'm worried about most on moving/acclimating/etc... I have so many babies in the current 10.

Oh and what to put in the new tanks added? I have 0 clue yet lol. Possibly one or two as a grow out for my angel babies I hope to someday have and pea puffers?

Big bonus, all come with matten filter setups

Wayyyyy jealous of the racks!

For the shrimp, I think if you fill a bucket halfway with their tank water and remove them into it, then siphon the remaining water into the new 20 long, you can get away with an easy acclimation by adding the bucket of shrimp and old water in and then slowly adding more water until it's full. I rip clean my shrimp tank from time to time and it's a bit laborious, but totally posible to net them all out (easier to remove plants and decor first, of course).

I'm desperate to start breeding killies, so I'll suggest that for some of the tanks that don't have a dedicated purpose yet

Great idea on the water exchange... that'll make it easier then I can drip fill the rest.

Netting all the babies is what I'm most afraid of lol. adults not so bad...

I've heard that some people use the siphon hose to suck babies out. I've never done it, but that could be easier for you!
