A Beautiful Beast!

hey everyone, heres a photo of the Huge elephant I saw in November at the Kruger National Park, For anyone who doenst know where that is, its in South Africa, North of Johannesburg, its a huge nature reserve and is home to many amazing animals!

 

Definitely a beautiful beast!! It would be wonderful to see them out like that.

Kerryve ... you're so lucky to have such amazing animals near you. It must be so wonderful in Africa. You go outside the city and you've everything there: elephants, giraffes, monkeys (monkeys too, right?) ... and what not I wish I could go to Africa one day

A TRULY BEAUTIFUL ELEPHANT!

 

Yip Loads!!! In Cape Town, that's on the South West Coast of South Africa, The Baboons are such pests, they come into the city and into peoples yards into their kitchens and steal their food, they raid rubbish bags and sit on your cars. They are actually very dangerous, they could kill a man in an instant. Theyve actually had incidences where people shoot them. Theyve now enforced a baboon rescue team that go around and capture and rehome them. The whole problem started when people started feeding them, its terrible how people intefere with nature. We also have Monkeys but that's more in the game parks cos they tend to be timid compared to the confident Baboons. But I really enjoy it here, Heres some pics of the scenery in Howick - Its a little town in Midlands in Natal.

I think your Oscars would be aggressive towards him, you should keep him in a separate tank.
