My 90g tank is empty. I am considering a few different stocking options.

    1. Shubunkin goldfish tank
    2. Monster fish (around 12-16") aka "wet pet"
    3. Tin Foil Barb tank

I have 2 other larger tanks that are both 75g's. One will house an oscar and the other will be for my Macaw cichlids (Hypsophrys Nicaraguensis)

What should I do with the 90g? I would love to hear everyone's opinions.

Out of the three, I like the goldfish best. We are putting blood parrots in our 90gal.

If I do fancy goldfish, where do I put my lone shubunkin? Right now, he is in a 55g, but I was wanting to get him some friends. My research says don't mix fancy tails and "comet-like" species due to feeding issues.

He could go in there. The Fancies'll just have to learn to eat fast!

I know of a few people who keep single-tailed and fancies together :)

The feeding issue is that they could be out competed for food, but if you get large fancies I don't see that happening.
