80 Gallon Tank Update

So after about 4 months of agony...from ick-ammonia-green water-then cloudy...I finally feel like things have stabilized.
Water has been clear an no big issues that I can see for almost 1 month. Here are some photos.. tank is 80gallons. Fluval canister 403..50% water change a week..or if I get bored. 2 pumps with 3 air stones. Some kind of heater keep the temp at 82 f. I turn small leds on at 9am main lights at 12 turn of mains around 7 leave one small leds until 9pm then blue moon light until morning.


Open to thought ideas on where to go from here...

My thought were maybe try a diy co2 system, but it seems my tank may be too big...also want to replace my fake plants with live ones over time...also thinking about adding some more angles.

Beautiful tank! I love the tall plants in the back, and the pile of rocks on the side of the tank.
The fish are beautiful as well

You could add some more Buenos Aires Tetras to the tank.

Is your pleco a bristlenose?

 

Sadly he is not he was labeled as such at the lfs. ...come to find he is a sailfin

 

Throw a background on it. Black or blue. You can use poster board for a cheap option, and will look good.
May I also suggest that your fish get some time of total darkness so they can rest. I suggest that when you go to sleep turn your moonlights off. Your fish will appreciate it.

Also you say "or when I get bored" referring to changing water. I seriously thought I may be the only one that does that!
