Livestock: 21x clown loaches, 2x angels (Elizabeth & Midget, possible pair), 2x gold gourami, 30x cardinal tetras, 12 glowlight tetras, 5x SAE, 6x BNs

Unused tanks -
1x 20G cube
1x 6G 1' tank
1x 6G all in one tank - will sell.

Plans:
1. Sell all bristlenoses. Big waste producers and have stopped munching on algae. All are 5-6" and sexually mature.
2. Sell angel pair from 55G. Egg layers but no successful spawn yet.
3. Sell 2x honey gouramis (1 male & 1 female). This will leave me with a honey trio. Both males are bubblenesting and 2 females are carrying.
4. Move 2x angels from 180G --> 55G.

Want list:
Harlequin rasboras
Congo tetras
German or Bolivian rams

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Your tanks are the exact opposite of mine. Each tank has different species in it - no duplicates.

I would put the congo tetras in either the 55 or the 180. I would put the rasboras in the 45. I would put bolivian rams in the 50.

I am getting a bit over having similar/same species in most of the tanks, and want to move away from so many communities. The 180 is easy - it's my clown loach tank! Anything else that makes its way in needs to be a dither fish.

I want to try my hand at some other cichlids too, but not sure where they should go. The 45G, 50 & 55 are all 3' tanks. I'm not convinced that a 3' is big enough for cichlids...

Why thank you, but that's not very helpful!

Keyholes cichlids are nice and would be fine for a 30+ IMO.

Wish I was your neighbor. LOL
Have you thought about shell dwelling cichlids? They can be housed in smaller tanks and come in nice colors.
