I'm currently setting up a 75 gallon tank with hopefully a 3D background. but I had a question of fish I currently have a Bala shark and a rainbow shark going in there. I would like to add angel fish, clown loach/zebra loach, Roseline shark and a gold nugget pleco . my questions are first off can these fish live together? and as per the loaches and roseline shark how many should I relatively get cause I know loaches are to be kept with a few other loaches but what about the roseline shark. and about how many. and just for reference ill be running a canister filter.

Welcome to fishlore forum!

Be aware of the size the stocking you posted will reach at full maturity:

Bala sharks can reach 10"-13" fully grown

Rainbow sharks can reach 6"

Clown Loaches prefer to be in a shoal of other clown loaches, and will grow out to 12" long

Roseline Shark (denison barb) reaches 6" in length

Golden Nugget Pleco reaches 6-9" long

With that being said, I would be very leary of putting Clown Loaches and Bala Sharks in a 4ft 75 gallon tank!

Most shoals of full grown clown loaches I see on YouTube are in 125-150g / 6ft long minimum sized tanks.

I didn't know that about the clown loaches. So I won't add any of those then which i'm okay with. Thanks!!

When I got first got my 75g, I was really wanting some clown loaches, so I started reading up on them.

The more I learned about them, I liked them even more, but decided long term they should not be in my 75g.

maybe in the future when I have the money time and space I can do more tanks and maybe bigger one but I think ill stick to my 75 as my main tank. I'm currently using a 23 to house some of the fish I'm gonna put in the 75 g. and hopefully by the time I do bigger tanks ill know a lot more. but what about the other fishes because I noticed you left out the angel fish. I want at least one in my tank. same with the roseline shark but I don't want to overfill the tank I want the fishes to be nice and comfortable in their home.
