Tank has been set up for a year now.
Stocking is
3 neon tetras
6 zebra danios
5 black skirt tetras
18 peppered Cory cats
2 bronze Cory cats
2 oto cats
4 silver dollars
3 Bolivian rams
2 German blue rams
2 rainbow sharks
2 black Molly's
2 Dalmatian Molly's
2 female guppies
2 angel fish
1 male betta
1 female betta
1 dwarf gourami
2 drift wood that I found out side
7-8 assorted live plants
20-25 agits ( a type of of rock )
Substrate is sand/gravel mix
8 fake plants
1 15 gallon heater
1 90 gallon heater
1 90 gallon filter
1 light that I plan on replacing some day

Things I'm going to change
1. Zebra danios are getting old and are starting to die now, lost one this week, so I will move them to a different tank to live out there lives
2. Remove silver dollars, once they get 4-5 inches
3. Add 4-5 more oto cats
4. Triple live plant count
5. Put male betta in a 5 gallon with lots of plants, with shrimp to live out his life now that he is old
6.buy more sand for the tank
7. Add one male guppie
8. Add one male gbr
9. Add 5-6 more neon tetras

Very nice looking tank! What's the pH like? Are their some live plants in there?

Looks like a fun project, seems like you gave a good handle on things. You have a lot of different species, only thing I'm looking at is the angelfish and the male betta. You might want to get the angelfish pretty small, and the same size. They might bully the smaller fish, but some species of angelfish are calmer, and many have their own personalities. As for the male betta, idk, maybe he will just hang out with the other fish, but generally the rule of thumb is to keep them separate. Am I wrong about this? Personally I think with such a large tank, he will do fine.

But, as i'm looking at the stocking list, that's quite a lot of fish! Keep an eye on the ammonia levels...

All are peaceful and good. The filter media was used for a Oscar, so it should have tons of bacteria, also the tank has been set up since last summer. I just hope it will be completed this summer. Thanks for your input. The betta is now to old to breed, so he isn't as aggressive anymore. The female betta usually swims near him!!

Hopefully next week I can get a new test kit, as mine ran out, so I will give the readings some time next week.

Update

Male betta has died sadly. Rest in peace buddy. I had him for over a year. I watched as he got weaker and weaker till today he passed away.
Neon tetras have not done to well with the heat treatment for ich. I have lost half the school sadly.
Sd are growing nice and fast.

Looks great!
On the peppered cories, they need cooler water than rams need. I'd separate them. Sorry for your loss.

When I get another fish tank I will separate them. Thanks for the advice. Right now I only have a ten I could use and I don't think they would like that...

I do 20-25g water changes a week, and test the water twice a week.

Sorry to hear that biller. Are you sure it's fin rot? Sounds like aggression issues to me since it's caused by bad water quality, which your tank doesn't have.....

It might be the SD, are they known to be fin nipers?

They don't nip my other fish, but my other fish tend to fight back more than the angel. Here I see if I can get a pic of it

I hope so. Honestly I think it's more probable than not that he/she will survive it.

Would you say its a bad case? And how long till it heals up of the water stays good, because he\she is in a 5 gallon right now and I don't want him\her to be bulled or out competited for food

It was old tank syndrome I think. I did a water change after a month of not doing any.

I did a water change after a month but still it was a rookie mistake. I did a 45% water change and it ruined my cycle some how.

Why would you go that long without doing a water change? Seems like that would make your water quality go down in a hurry. Cause all sorts of problems Then when you finally do a water change - that would definitely be a shock to the system.

it doesn't seem like the water change would be the main problem. Maybe the lack of one for that length of time.
