It looks like we are making some progress against ich. This is day 3 compared with day 1.

Beautiful fish, would love to have one myself. Glad you’re making progress in the ich fight.

He is about 3.5 to 4 inches.

I have one and he has stopped growing at around 5”. I read somewhere that the can stop growing if they are wild caught? Have you heard of this? I got mine about a year ago maybe more for my 210g but he just won’t grow

Nice tank! And good job with the ich It is working! Which med did you end up going with and how high did you raise the temp?

I turned the temp up to 83, and started medicating with Nox-Ich. I'm only doing half doses due to having tetras and plecos. I am pumping air into the tank which I do not normally do. I am changing out about 5 gallons of water a day in between treatments. I've not lost any fish in the process and none seem stressed.

You have to be careful when raising the temp and medicating. Each can remove oxygen from the water. The air pump is helping a lot. The only thing suffering in the tank right now is some of my plants. I have CO2 injection and the air pump is offsetting the benefits. I hope to be back to normal next weekend.

Yay!! Good job! Just remember to keep treating for 3 more days at least after you see the last spot.

I finally have time to hook up my DIY CO2 reactor. Thankfully, no leaks to be found.

Whoa that's a huge co2 canister thingy. I'm not into co2 yet, but I was thinking of getting a smaller canister so I could handle it better, but now I'm not so sure.

I had a battle with hair algae, but boosted the CO2 and I think we have it under control now.

Can you list all the different plants? I can identify some, but not all.
