I really want another fish in my 75 gallon tank.
Right now I have a
- Green Terror (growing a hump to show dominance)
- Blood Parrot female
- Male convict
They all get along great, convict is a little shy but has been coming out a lot more.
There are plenty of hiding spots.
Jack Dempsey passed away a few months ago and I don't want to feel like I'm replacing him by putting in another JD, so not a JD.
Also a Texas cichlid is too aggressive.

I was thinking a shark or a bichirs but I'm not sure which ones would be right.

Any thoughts?

Check out Salvini Cichlids. Very colorful & tough, but don't grow exceptionally large. I've kept them with Green Terrors, great fish.

A Red Tail Shark is an option and will add some colour. I've seen them kept successfully in Cichlid display tanks. In that environment with larger aggressive fish they tend to lose their typical annoying attitude and the Cichlids generally ignore them.

Bichirs are one of my favorites they are super cute and amazing fish to have I just have to warn you they get huge depending on what species you get
