Re: 67gal Tank At Preasent

Where did you see him? I haven't got down to putting pix in my blog yet!
And yes his lovely, but, they grow to 50cm and although my tank can fit him you can imagine the amount of waste he'l make! (but you never know, I keep hope that maybe he won't eat much when he gets older!! LOL! Also i'm sure he'l take ages to grow to even half that size, so hopefully I'll have him for the next 2 years....

Ok, I got hold of a magnificent male dwarf gourami. He's got blue on his dorsal and bottom fin from under is 'chin'! And is fully grown. He was very shy yesterday and hid whenever I came but today he seems to have got over it! Good!
Ans I got a puffer.

I'm curious to know what the price diff is between the different countries, how much does your lfs sell them for? The price normally here (SA) is R39.00 for the lpd plecs. But I got him for R34.00.
Its R7.00 to the dollar (us) so that would make it something like $5.00? I think?

A cherry barb, some sort of plecos and 2 oto's are new editions. Intend getting more cherrybarbs asap. Angelfish, leopard pleco and cories are here no more. The angels were showing too much aggression and had to be returned and the remaining 2 that I couldn't bear to part with had to be separated. The cories were moved to another tank and so was the leopard pleco.
The dwarf gourami died.

Well the oto and 2 of my small mystery (I seem to like calling them that. lol.) pleco's vanished over a week and my nitrates went suspiciously high. Inspecting the tank thoroughly I found the remains of 1 small pleco nearly under a small rock. I can't think how he got there, especially since I saw him 2 days ago and the rock was not in a position to topple. The oto and other pleco I can't find without trace. I'm sad that this happened and find no apparent reason, guess it will have to be filed as unknown deaths. I'm now watching my other pleco's to see for any sign out of the ordinary.
