    Hey guys,

I've got a 60 gallon community tank with these current inhabitants:

    3 albino corys
    7 bronze corys
    6 blackskirt tetras
    11 neon tetras
6 danios leapord and zebra combo
    2 bristle nose pleco
    6 nerite snails

This is a planted tank, low tech, with excel and pps pro ferts

It's on continuous drip water change with overflow skimmer

    Parameters :

    Temp 74
    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrate 10

    Ph around 8

Semi hard water on a well no current value for kh or gh

I'm not currently having any problems with the tank other than some algae issues that I'm reducing photo period for and holding ferts.

What do you think about current stocking and what do you think I could add? I would like to add something flashy to tank. Wife would like angels but I think there temp would conflict with my corys.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

Angels would be fine with that species of corydoras. All your schooling fish prefer waters much cooler, between 72-75.

The danios especially wouldn't last long at the 80 degree temp angels need.

Some of the gourami guys should be able to give you some species you could add. If you're interested in cichlids Bolivian Rams would work well with the corydoras at the lower end of their temp range.

I do like the Bolivians, would I need to get a pair? They won't eat my neons when they get bored?

you should have only one species of cories in a aquarium and they prefer to be in groups of 6+ of their own species

Albino and Bronze are the same species of corys, they will school together.

    I would suggest this

    2-3 Thick lipped Gouramis
    8 Black Skirt Tetra
    8 Danios
    11 Neon Tetras
    2 Bolivian Rams
    10 Albino/Bronze Corys
    2 Bn Pleco
    6 Nerite Snails

Be careful if the two BN pleco are males , their might be territorial dispute.

I think there's one of each one has a lot more bristles on his face.

Everyone in the tank gets along great actually. The black skirts kinda chase each other occasionally but they've been in there for months and I haven't seen any issues arise.

Thank you all for the suggestions, gonna go take the wife to look at some rams here in a bit.

Does the sex of the rams matter? Would two females get along? would two males get along?

The sex does't matter in that size tank but if you want better colors i would do 1 Male and 4 Females. In that tank i would do-
    5 Bolivian Rams(1 Male 4 Females)
    12 Skirt Tetras(Mix of Black, White/Gold, Glo-fish)
    12 Danios(Mix Zebra and Leopard)
    5 Honey Gourami(1 Male 4 Females)
    16 Bronze Cories(Albino, Regular Mix)
    Temp.-74'F

I'd do either banded or thick-lipped gouramis.
