Your tank looks amazing. Man cleaning that sand is ridici-hard! I gave up after a while and it shows lol

Is that lava, or dragon stone in the tank?

People aren't agreeing on the species. It's either C. Venuzeulans or C. aenus.

Not sure of the type of stone, unfortunately. It was not labeled.

There's a molly and a young platy/swordtail hybrid in the pictures. Colors/patterns from the platy mom were two identical yellow/black babies and one brown and black. Not sure what the color is, tbh.

I think I'm going to come up with a crazy name and sell them for millions. Marigold Sunburst Golden Plaswords, anyone?

Oriental sword and ruffle sword is what the LFS had them labeled as.

I used some cycled media.

When I was looking at the 1st page, I found the question about canisters under 100$, and have over 300gph.
I've found SunSun to be a very great, cheap brand. The SUNSUN 304b does 500GPH, and is only 70$!

The tank is doing well! We have a bit of wall algae that we're trying to lessen, but everyone and everything is doing great! SasukI loves her new home!

 

 

Updated tank pictures! Love this tank!

(The big pleco is Samuel - he only stays in here for the winter. I wouldn't keep a common in a 60 permanently. He lives in the 180 gallon pond Spring-Late fall.)
