Hey there, happy birthday!

Thank you!

Happy birthday! Can't wait to see your new friend!

Meet Squishbutt! I don't know if I'll be able to keep him in adulthood (may just find him a good home on here when he's grown) but he was too sweet to leave at the pet store! He dances!

I painted my nails this morning with a new color I got!

Got fabric for a skirt at Hobby Lobby and stuff to make fish in a bottle necklaces!

We're about to head to Petco, then another LFS, then Olive Garden!

Looks great but you need to rotate that output to the left for better tank circulation. And bring it up a bit .

Hmmm. Got a lot of little guys. How about Praecox rainbows? Are they temp compatible?

My mom wants a mid swimmer. Any ideas?

Right now we're at:

4 guppies
3 baby platys
2 mollies
15 harlequin rasboras
3 Pearl gouramis
Glowlight tetras will stay towards the middle/bottom (sticking with your small theme).

Thinking about dwarf cichlids at all?

Yes, just not sure which at the moment. Haven't seen a good listing for the hongsloi I wanted. Any other ideas for peaceful dwarfs that don't need scalding temperatures?

Bolivian ram is a good choice. Apisto borelli, cacatuoides, maybe even mcmasterI would be cool (not remembering their temp range lol).

A rarer one would be nannacara anomala.

BorellI I believe is cooler temp. Anders247 would know for sure

She's around 74-75, right? BorellI would be fine there IMO.

JeffK is the dwarf cichlid master on here, but haven't seen him lately.

BorelliI would be fine at 74-75 (I keep mine at 76 for what it's worth). I also keep a laetacara dorsigera in another tank at 76 - had it now for about 6 months and it's doing quite well at that temp. I actually think cacatuoides prefer slightly warmer temps, but they're very adaptable. I've never kept them, but if I did, I'd probably do so at 78.

Guess who just got corydoras?!

They're red Venezuelans! We got all they had (4). Will have to find more either there next time they have them or online.

Also, new bulbs!!

You lucky girl, they are awesome! I've been wanting some of those.

Tank looks great by the way. I found 5 more swordtail juvies in the 40b today for a total of 6.

Great day for both of us. Lol
I'm like a kid in a candy store. Or a FishLorean in a pet store.

I've had them forever, lost the male after moving to the 40b. They look to be the red velvet ones.

May get some more in a couple weeks since its getting too cold to have shellies shipped until spring.

Usually come from the pet store pregnant. Lol

Got some of those upstairs, had a TON of fry. If you have a male and femaleb they'll do the rest.
