I forgot how nice your guppies were.
What other fish are you thinking of adding?
If you can get your hands on some good honeys, I really recommend them. I really loved my boys, the most gentle, kind fish I've ever owned. Funny thing is I kept them with guppies too lol.We have to see what my LFS have, but tryin to choose between honey gouramis and Pearl gouramis for the centerpiece, and likely choosing between harlequin rasboras and rummynose tetras for the schoolers, but I'll see if anything else catches my eye.

With the honeys? I literally went into PetSmart and got 6 males at random. 2 blue tuxedos, an orange delta, a red delta, a red and gold tuxedo, and a mutt with a silver head, black body, and yellow tail.I used to have a honey a long time ago. He was the sweetest thing. I'll see what they've got.
What kind of guppies did you have?
What's the temperature?Guys, the guppies are gasping in a corner at the top. :/
Any ideas? Parameters are 0-0-10
What's the temperature?
Is there enough surface agitation?
Sounds good. For me when in doubt water changeYes, as far as I can tell. Adjusted the little nozzle to give it some more just in case. Will check on them in the morning and update.

Lol do you mean like a python? Or something fancier? Python saved my life lol. Good night bI'd love to do another, but I literally just did a 95% this morning to get rid of the nitrates from cycling and my arm still hurts from holding the hose in place for 15 minutes to drain the water.
Added a dose of Prime before bed. The ghost shrimp and snails in there seem fine, so I doubt it's metals.
I really need an automatic water changer...

Great adviceHappy birthday!!! And great looking tank!
The output of the filter looks too low to agitate the surface. Try to get it high enough to create small ripples on the surface but not make too much noise or splashing and it should be enough to aerate the tank. I have a Fluval 206 and my output nozzle is about 1/4" below the surface and a slight adjustment can go from a peaceful light surface current to bubbly rippling.
I also use Stress Coat any time I add fish to a tank. I've been using it for over 30 yrs and I like to think it helps a lot as I've had very minimal issues adding fish to tanks treated with it.
