Mine was just one big hose, so we had to cut it to make it two.
Ok. Mine are rather long and now I'm wondering if I was supposed to trim to fit. They hang and form a loop before getting to the canister

Maybe. Mine said not to give it any slack and to be 3 inches under the clamps.

I assume that is translation, and it is terrible.

You want the instructions from mine? I can take pictures.
Sure. It couldn't hurt right? To me it looks like someone looked at the pictures and tried to decipher what the pictures meant in English with no real knowledge of the filter Lol. There is no step that isn't pictured and the "according to the diagram" is quite confidence building lol

Got the sand - washed off part of it but it got dark and the mosquitos started attacking. Have maybe 20 pounds washed. Need to order centerpiece driftwood and rocks.

We're getting live plants.

How many pounds did you get? 80? 100?

That was a great read! Think they'll make a sequel?

Ah, was the sand cheap at the place you bought it from?
Or was it expensive for 100lbs.

Not too bad. But for a big tank you really need the cheap stuff. I can't spent $100 on the substrate. I'd rather spend that on the filter or wood!

Alrighty, is there some water in the second picture, or is that just sand?
I can't really tell by looking at the picture.

I don't have the plants yet.
Need to get the right lights too. And have the driftwood so I know where to plant stuff.

Maybe this weekend.

Hey b&b. Based on your experience just now how much would you think I would need for my 120? I think the footprint is 60×18
