55g plant stocking rethink

I was wondering if I could have the following plants with Thrive c, and this light: Marimo moss ball, java moss, amazon frogbit, anubias nana petite, Hydrocotyle Japan (The carpeting plant), crypt wendetti green, dwarf water lily, and hornwort. Would this work? I will not be injecting Co2, and will not be using root tabs, I am a complete noob with aquarium plants. Any help is appreciated!

 

Oh yeah, also is there a way to cultivate Dwarf water lily (Dwarf red lily), it being a bulb plant, how would I go about doing that if it is possible. Also since I'm super new, feel free to leave any tips for taking care of plants that I might find useful.

 

Will the Hydrocotyle Japan carpet without Co2 and root tabs?

 

You can grow those plants with that light.

Yes, the Hydrocotyle will carpet without CO2 and root tabs. It will grow everywhere (likely a lot of upwards growth towards the light) so you will have to manually plant it into a carpet.

The dwarf lily will sound out daughter plants from the bulb that you can clip off and replant elsewhere. Look for groupings of new baby leaves bunched from the same spot, and you should notice some roots forming off the clump of baby leaves / a new plantlet will start to show - trim it off when you think it's big enough to live on its own.

 

The light has 26 lumen and 1190 lumens. 84 white lights, and 84 RGB, is that enough for a 55g, most sources say no.

 

Sorry, I reread how much the carpet came with, and it is 5 by 3, not 15 by 3. Would this till grow out through the whole tank in a few months? How big of clumps should I separate them into, or rather how far apart should they be?

 

I kind of want to get 2 more plants. Could I keep Buce Godzilla and anubias barteri. With Thrive c, no root tabs/Co2, with a light of 26 lumens, and 1190 watts?

Although CO2 is a great addition, those plants should grow for you without it, and should grow with your light.
