Hello, fish experts! I am excited to say that I am finally in a place where I can comfortably upgrade to a 55 gallon tank. However, I have a dilemma. My current 29 gallon tank holds an adult angelfish, pearl gourami, female betta, 5 guppies, 6 skirt tetras, and 6 peppered corydoras. I know, it is a bit overstocked. There is no aggression, stressed colors, torn fins, or fin-nipping. Ammonia, nitrite, and all disease have been gone for over a year now. Anyway, I was thinking of buying the 55 gallon, and adding all of my fish into it. On top of that, I really would like to get a couple new and interesting fish that I wouldn't have been able to have in a 29 gallon. Would this he possible, or would my 55 gallon still be stocked fully after the move? My other option is just to buy a 10-20 gallon tank, add the guppies in, and build the tank around them. I am in no hurry since all is well, but I would love suggestions and ideas!
