55 Gallon Stocking Question Question

Am I overstocked? The tank doesn't look overcrowded too me so I was thinking about adding 2 -6 inch Oscars. What do you Fishloriens think? My current stocking is=
    1 -10 inch pacu
    1 -9 inch arowana
    2- 4 inch blue discus
    1-5 inch yellow lobster
    1 -4.5 inch silver angel
Do you think I have enough room for the Oscars?

Using AqAdvisor (not the most accurate) to measure your stock.
You are severely overstocked at 336%.

5 or more discus must be kept together in a group.
Adding 2 oscars will put you over 400%.

Your arowana and pacu need a much bigger tank.

The discus need to be kept in groups of 6+

So no Oscars and add discus?

No, unless you move those fish into a bigger tank, you cannot get anymore fish.
You still have to move them no matter what.

I'd suggest around a 400-600 gallon aquarium for the pacu, and arowana.

I'd definitely not add anymore fish and as mentioned the pacu and arowana need a much bigger tank.

I thought you had like 30 tanks though, right? Surely you have a giant tank you can put them in.

I'm still wondering why you would Oscars with any of those fish.

I have 48 tanks running right now. I do have a confession to make, this is a picture my neighbors tank, I posted it on his behalf. I wanted him to read what you guys think about his tank. I tell him it's a disaster waiting to happen, but he thinks I'm totally wrong!! His fish all get along, so it must be OK. :dead:

    Agreed, total disaster.

I can feel something bad going to that tank in the future some day. An arowana and a pacu in a 55 gallon is too small of a tank size.
