55 Gallon Stocking Help

So, we just picked up a 55 gallon tank of the 4ft variety. I have a female bristlenose, an electric blue acara, and a rainbow cichlid. The big guy of the tank is an adult Synodontis. Not sure which syno but it resembles a featherfin without feather fins. We have other tanks to move fish around but right now this 55 looks empty. Any suggestions on something to add maybe some color? The team doesnt show aggression at all and have grown up together. Note: tetra sized fish become snacks

What about a larger schooler, like dwarf neon rainbows or diamond or Congo tetra?

The rainbows and diamonds might work! Too big to become linch with that same colorful affect! Ive seen the rainbows at my lfs but havent read up on them before.
