Wow, those are some really big rocks! Might be a bit much for the bottom of the tank don't you think? Nice JD tho!

I will get rid of some when he is bigger it is just for places to hide when he is small.

Those are massive rocks indeed. Be cautious as it gets bigger that they can grow about 9-10" long. It might be hard for them to turn in a 55 gallon as the depth is only 11 inches.

I got those rocks at a rock yard for $17 cad, they are basalt so they are fish safe.

I like the scape on the tank. Decent idea to adjust as it gets bigger. Cute little guy(or girl) for now.

You can make caves with smaller, flatter rocks. Those things look like boulders! lol

Those look like nice rocks and all, but I would be afraid to have such large rocks in the tank! What if you accidentally knock one when cleaning? It could be a disaster! Also, did you put something like egg crate on the bottom to cushion the rocks to the glass? (Unless they are on the gravel) Still I would be too nervous that an accident would come about and ruin my tank!

I was saying flat rocks that are 1" thick like slate. Then you can make caves with lesser rocks.

They are actually not that big the biggest one is 4.5 inches thick and 10 inches tall
