The whole bottom panel comes off. I have 1 medium size interlocking mount to secure it in place. In order to get the trim for the top panel to look seamless I just attached it to the last two panels. The top panel is held secure by long screws that are pushed into snug holes. Everything is snug and looks seamless together.

Thank you! I was originally going to build a stand with reclaimed barnwood but then my wife suggested this design and it worked out great!
