50 gallon rain barrel stocking?

    I have a 50 gallon rain barrel that's 34in high and 21in wide.all it has in it is some ghost shrimp and mabye a few guppies which will be removed,any ideas on what I can put in here.

    I'm so confused. Like, it's a barrel that catches rain water? Outside? Is it heated? Where do you live? Is this something people do often with fish or just a random idea you had? Sorry for the barrage I just read your post and I don't get it...

    It doesn't have a very big footprint, and if it's not a see through container, I wouldn't bother putting anything in it other than guppies and/or mosquito fish. It's too small for goldies and many other pond fish, and if you can't see the fish in it easily, I wouldn't stock it with other fish.

    I was thinking some sort of livebearer other than guppies.

    Yeah those will work,i was looking for misc.livebearers mabye one sided livebearer.Are there any uncommon ones you can think of.

    Not that would do well in a rain barrel outside.
