They should be fine for about a month, if you keep up with your water changes. I think you can keep them as long as you have a tank big enough for them when they're all grown. Beware that they might have more babies when they're old enough.

As they mature, you'd need a much larger tank than a 26 to keep 5 adults. You will get at least one mated pair from the 5, I'm sure. Then the others will be "odd man out" and there will be a high level of aggression. I know my lfs was very happy to see take all of my kribs once I got tired of being an nursery maid. They can easily shoot out 150 fry per month so be prepared!

I kept 6 baby kribs in a grow out tank until try were about 6 months. Regular water changes and you will be just fine for a while.

Update :I move my guppy in the 10 gallon aquarium then put the 5 kribensis in the 20 gallon long. They have more space to swim and play around.I was going to set up my 26 gallon aquarium,But I hit a round block.I have no space in my the room.I have to take down one of my 10 gallon to make room for the 26 gallon aquarium.

20 long will work for now. Kribs are substrate dwellers so they don't require a really deep tank.
