5.5 Gallon Biotope?

I have an extra 5.5 gallon tank and I want to try a biotope tank. What would be something interesting?

Some nano fish/inverts that I was thinking about:
Dwarf Puffer
ThaI Micro Crabs
KuboatI Rasboras
Celestial Pearl Danios
Neocardina Shrimp(Neon Yellow, Cherry Red)
Pygmy Corydoras
Pygmy Gourami

Also could someone suggest some plants that supplement your biotope idea?

And by pygmy gourami do you mean Trichopsis pumila?

Certain killifish would also find a 5.5 more than adequate.
