How about some schooling fish? Maybe some cherry barbs or rummynose tetras-about 6ish. Also what species of pleco is it?
It’s a common, only 4 inches. I got it from Walmart and I know if I would return it they would just euthanize it, so I’m waiting until it gets larger and then I’m going to take it to my LFS.

I've got a similar sized tank that I'm stocking with silvertip tetras but I also looked at odessa barbs, bentosI tetras, +1 for cherry barbs as they aren't nippy (as far as I've seen), harlequin rasboras (I'm not sure on their compatibility with opalines), black neon tetras, I've got diamond tetras that don't bother my moonlight gouramI or my angel

I'll stop now, but I agree, one group of schooling fish in there maybe? And you could up the cory group once Monsieur Pleco is rehomed - I love a big school of cories, 10+
