40 breeder Equipment Planning Help

So I might be getting a 40 breeder to replace my 10 gallon and 20 gallon high since I am aiming to just have 1 tank and keeping it simple since I will be busy during my school year. However I haven't decided whether I'm getting a 29 gallon or 40 breeder, got to ask my parents! So I am planning equipment for both so that I will have a plan and pricing. Here is my plan so far:
- 40 gallon aquarium[$40]
- Aqua Quartz 50lbs Pool Filter sand[$13]
- AquaClear Powerfilter 70[$49]
- Finnex fugeray planted plus 36'[$124] or Finnex stingray 36" [$60]
- 200 watt EHEIM Jager heater[$27]

The prices are from Amazon(where I'll be buying) and the sand is from Ace Hardware. If I go with the cheaper lights which is for low light plants it will be a total cost of $189 but if I choose the Planted+ it will be $253. I am probably planning to go with the Stingray due to cost. Is their any way to lower the cost or is it all good. Any suggestions or questions.

Note: I alsready got the plants and driftwood. So far I have anubias nana and some other kind, java fern, amazon sword, crypts, water wisteria, temple, and maybe try to regrow my staurogyne repens. So as you can see its your common low light plants. I will probably try to get more plants to help with filtration and adding more hiding places. For stocking it will be mainly a shrimp tank due to their easy care (RCS, ghost shrimp, yellow shrimp, and rili's shrimp). For fish I'm not really sure if I will split a part of my tank or add a small area for my betta since I don't want it to eat my shrimps(happened before). I might keep 2-3 of my guppies since they are the 4 generation of my selective breeding but most of them will be staying in my 10 gallon which will be moved to school.

Do you already have heaters for the 10 and 20 gal? What sizes?

For my 10 gallon I have a Stealth 75 watt (although I got it used and don't really use it only for winter) and for my 20 gallon I have a Ehiem 50 watt.

I'm also making a list of what I need for my 29 gallon just in case I can't get a 40 breeder!

Both heaters used together would be fine for the 29 gal. If you got a 40 breeder, you'd need more wattage.

I'm thinking for the 29 gallon I will be using a 150 watt heaters. Should I post what I have for my 29 gallon or create a new thread for that equipment. I will tell my parents of my plan either tomorrow or in 2 days. But until then I want to have a plan for both a 40 breeder and a 29 gallon. This would also help for if anyone ever wants to start a new 29 or 40 I could refer them to the equipment.

You can post the equipment here, I'm sure.

Just as an fyi, if you get your tank from petco, it's an open top tank with no support frame. If your Petco is like mine, they will be out of hoods for it. So when you order on line, be sure to keep that in mind, lest you order the Versatop that goes on the framed model with the support in the middle. (Yes, I did this. Yes, I tried to cheat. Yes, the top of my tank is funny looking.)
