I was hoping to use the spray foam to get the basic shapes then paint them and seal them up Also want to use real branches and seal them up. Anybody have suggestions pro or against?

Also wondered about using organic Miracle grow soil instead of the $70 a bag stuff from the LFS for my plants. Any ideas? All this is freshwater.

I like to use GreatStuff for pond sealing, and rock features.
You could cover it, but I only have experience doing terrarium background, not aquatic.
