Is a tank you are just going to setup soon? What other fish would you plan on having in the tank with them?

I just got it set up last night... its cycling now...just planing the new tank out...it will be a couple weeks or a month depenidn on how it goes...I'm not sure that's the thing I meanI was just going to have a lot of gupps and so ottos but a lot of people say I should think bigger..I already have gupps in my 20 gal... and I was just going to use some fry and buy some and move some ...but idk angels are one fish I seriously am considering but what is good to mix with them it sounds like tetras are but I'm still not sure

It all depends on what tetras, because there are some that are really bad for angelfish tank mates while others are perfect. You could just go with a bunch of angels and cories, otos, and whatever else you would want for bottom feeders since angels are very territorial.

Well then instead of cories and otos you could have some BNs(one or two).

It's up to you, just make sure you do your research before the purchase. It's good that you are doing your research before you go to the store and make a bad purchase.

lol yeah...when I first got into this hobby I saw a fish one day and then was like cool...the next day I went to the basement grabed the old goldfish tank and set it up road my bike about two or 3 miles to walmart and that's how it started...I got a bala for a 5.5 gallon then I did reserch after...fishlore was the first and last site..and then at the end of the first month of fish keeping I got really into it and got a 20 gallon for my bday and it lived to be seven months old to...its funny that was last year now this year I got a 55 gallon tank..but I'm set for a while......but yeah this is first tank I will be truly cycling to..even after that first month I was still to excited to wait for it to cycle...

Wait if your first tank was a 5.5, then a 20, then a 55, I wonder what your next years tank will be.

ahhh I think it will be a while untell my next upgrade...see the 5.5 was just the only avalible tank...and I was into this hobby so my parents got me a tank ..and I wanted to upgrade again but I have 3 tanks running ...and the 55 gives me more options as far as fish and decor go so ill keep myself busy ..and I'm going ot be a freshmen this year...and I don't wanna have tons of tanks when I graduate..incase I go to a school that I couldnt live at home...and I'm hoping I can train my mother to take care of my fish..if that's the case
